Rock Skool Presentation
Are you ready to rock?
Have you secretly been wanting to strut your stuff - in a supportive fun and relaxed setting? (think the opposite of Simon Cowell)
If you are a Cambridge person who uses services for mental health, homelessness or addiction, here's your chance.
Whether you've been playing guitar or singing with your hairbrush in your bedroom or if you are involved in a music project. From the 22nd March you can get an application pack and see if the Kringe Skool of Rock is right for you.
There will be 2 meetings to attend, then we're booking 12 weeks of studio space for bands and karaoke for singers.
The finale will be a performance in July for the ticket buying public.

Art Exhibition
This film is about the Lifecraft Art Exhibition, held on the same day as Mill road winter fair 2009 in Cambridge. The December weather was perfect, sunshine and crisp. The film opens up with shots of the fair at the Gwydir street junction before the bridge. The road is alive with performers, music and jugglers and a compliment booth provided by Lifecraft (a mental health drop in centre). The camera leaves the road and moves into the Bath House (where Lifecraft presides), as we pass through the door the jazz music from the Modern Jazz Quartet serenades us into the Art Exhibit. The Exhibit is alive with colour and form, with works ranging from a collection of 40 superman drawings to to silver box entitled ''What's in the Box'', filled with unusual oddments to electrify the sight of the observer. It's a sophisticated affair and most agreeable. The camera finally leaves the Bath House and back onto the street into the magic of the Mill Road Winter fair 2009. Enjoy....

Danceathon - World Mental Health Day 2009
To celebrate World Mental Health Day 2009, The Kringe hosted a Danceathon at St Pauls church Hills road Cambridge. Special guests that came along to dance with us were the Cambridge Salsa dancers and Cambridge Tribal dancers. We had two amazing DJ's, one focusing jazzy old school dance and the other more hardcore tunes. Dancing was not the only thing on the agenda...we had singer's such as Paranoid Elvis and Blind Elvis. Let me tell you it was kicking four hours, and we all left feeling empowered and energised. The Kringe would like to thank Lifecraft and Time to Change.
